Welcome to the
Tennis Alliance of Louisville Kentucky

The Tennis Alliance of Louisville Kentucky (TALK)  is a non-profit organization devoted to developing tennis and social activities among the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered (LGBT) community throughout Kentuckiana while promoting volunteerism and charitable giving.  Membership is open to any adult who endorses and subscribes to our goal. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, gender, national origin, sexual orientation, or tennis ability.  All players and friends, from beginners to experts, are welcome.  

Our goal is to create an environment which fosters and promotes followship and healthy competition amount tennis players in the Kentuckiana LGBT comunity, providing our members with the opportunity to meet and play tennis with other members, socialize with gays and lesbians sharing a common interest in tennis, and volunteer with various LGBT charities and service organizations.


We are an Organizational Member of the USTA and GLTA.

Our tournament site, the University of Louisville's Bass-Rudd Tennis Center has just completed a renovation which included complete resurfacing of all courts!

$2000 Donation to House of Ruth

TALK President, Todd Bird meets with the executive director of the House of Ruth, Lisa Sutton to present a check for $2,000, proceeds of the 2011 Bluegrass Tennis Open. This brings our 2 year total to $4,000!
